It’s no secret that the last four years has been challenging for many businesses to survive let alone thrive in this mindset of the aftermath of the pandemic’s economic impact. Contrary to conventional wisdom businesses always seem to cut Marketing Budgets first to make ends meet. While that may be a short term cash flow solution, It certainly not a long term formula for success. So what’s a business to do? Bring on the Guerrillas, that is to deploy Guerrilla Marketing!

Guerilla Marketing was originally born out of the need to level the playing field with big spending big business. Small businesses didn’t have the budget to compete head to head with them.  They had to be creative, humorous, clever, even startling methods that hit between the eyes with reality. They looked to ignite the senses, stir emotions, resurrect closeted feelings giving an almost subliminal experience that would imbed into the brain of potential customers.
Guerrilla Marketing found ways to tap into emotions beyond traditional two dimensional marketing of sight & sound. It created attachment by resurrecting anchored feelings we all possess and fusing them with the commonality of the product or service. This was done at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.

It’s no wonder Guerrilla Marketing has gained tremendous popularity. It’s estimated that over 65% off all marketing contains Guerrilla Marketing tactics, even “Big Business” has caught on to the effectiveness.

Guerrilla marketing is not for all businesses, but it should be explored by all businesses big and small.

Whether you’re a start-up or a newer business struggling to reach the next level, or even if you’re a well-established business and just want to keep your competitive edge, Guerrilla marketing needs to be in your arsenal of marketing tools. The subsequent issues will be exploring every aspect of Guerrilla marketing!
