Mental Health Awareness Month - Why It Matters for Business Owners

Every May, Mental Health Awareness Month shines a spotlight on something many people struggle with quietly — stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, and emotional exhaustion. While mental health affects everyone, business owners often carry a unique weight that can make these challenges even more intense.

Running a business is rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming. Entrepreneurs are constantly balancing finances, deadlines, marketing, staffing, customer service, family responsibilities, and the pressure to “keep it all together.” Many small business owners feel like they cannot slow down because too many people depend on them. Over time, that pressure can take a serious toll on both physical and emotional health.
