As the owner of Perri’s Organizational Services, LLC, Micolette has built a business by helping people reclaim their spaces and sense of calm. Her journey hasn’t been without hardship, but her unwavering Faith and passion for helping others have made her a cornerstone of support for clients navigating difficult transitions.

Turning Talents into a Thriving Business

Micolette’s journey into professional organizing began as a way to help provide for her household while leaning into her natural talents. Recognizing her knack for creating order and her love for helping others, she offered her organizing skills part-time, juggling her responsibilities as a wife and mother. “I didn’t have a fancy degree or formal training,” she says. “But I knew I had God-given skills that could make a difference in people’s lives.”

Over the past 20 years, Micolette has grown her expertise and reputation, transforming what began as a part-time endeavor into a thriving full-time business in the last decade. Her process includes a free consultation to understand her client’s needs and challenges. From there,

she tailors a plan that respects their emotional connection to their belongings while guiding them toward a more organized life. Micolette offers services that include organizing closets, kitchens, bedrooms, storage rooms, toy rooms, basements, and garages. She also provides packing and unpacking services for moves and estate organizing for those navigating life transitions.

Whether tackling a single room or orchestrating a full-home overhaul, Micolette approaches every project with creativity and dedication. “Every home and every person is unique, and my goal is to create solutions that not only clear the clutter but also bring peace to the people I serve,” she says.

Micolette’s life experiences have shaped a deeply empathetic and holistic approach to her work. Having faced personal challenges and loss, she understands the emotional weight that can accompany clutter. “Every struggle I’ve faced has shaped me into someone who can truly empathize with others,” she reflects. “When I meet someone struggling to let go, I understand the deeper reasons behind it.”

Her faith is central to her work, giving her the patience and compassion to connect with clients on a personal level. “I don’t just see the clutter; I see the person behind it,” she says. By creating a safe and supportive environment, Micolette helps clients take the first steps toward reclaiming their spaces.

She tailors her methods to fit each client’s needs, recognizing that every home tells a different story. Building Perri’s Organizational Services into a thriving business hasn’t been without its challenges. For Micolette, the most significant hurdle has been the inconsistency of income in the early days. “There were times when I was worried that I wouldn’t get another call,” she admits. “But every time I started to doubt, God provided. My phone would ring, and the work would come.”

Micolette’s Faith has been her anchor through uncertain times, giving her the confidence to push forward and grow her business. “It’s not easy, but it’s worth it,” she says. “Helping people find peace in their homes is incredibly rewarding.”

Looking Ahead

As she looks to the future, Micolette’s vision includes expanding her services and potentially hiring a team to meet growing demand. “I’d love to reach more people and be able to help in even bigger ways,” she says. “Whether it’s packing and unpacking for moves, organizing homes, or offering emotional support, I want to continue making a difference.”

Micolette’s advice to others considering starting a business is simple. Start with something that you know will be sustainable. “I knew nothing about business when I started, but I knew how to organize,” she explains. “I found a need, and I made myself the solution.”
